What are Porcelain Veneers?

Revitalize your smile quickly and easily.

Porcelain veneers can completely change the look of your teeth and smile. An ultra-think shell of tooth-colored porcelain is placed over the surface of the teeth that reshapes your smile into one you've only been able to dream about - until now!.

Porcelain veneers are the perfect solution for:

  • Yellowed, dull, or stained teeth
  • Teeth that are worn down
  • Crooked teeth or teeth with gaps
  • Chipped teeth

FAQs about Porcelain Veneers

Get the answers below.

Most people can. Veneers are not recommended for people with severely crooked teeth, tooth decay, or active gum disease. These conditions would need to be treated first and then we could proceed with the veneers treatment.
With proper care, porcelain veneers can last for many decades. Guarding against tooth decay is very important, so following a diligent hygiene routine is strongly recommended.
1. Treatment planning where you discuss what you envision for your smile.
2. Enamel removal which involves removing about a half a millimeter of enamel from your teeth to make room for the veneers. Once completed a mold is made from your teeth and sent to a dental lab to create your veneers.
3.Bonding of your new teeth is done in about 2 weeks when the lab delivers your custom-created veneers. Our dentist will clean and polish them and make sure they fit correctly.
Because some of the tooth enamel has been removed to prepare for the placement of the veneers this is considered an irreversible treatment. Veneers may be replaced however with new ones if necessary.
