Essentially, they’re the same thing just different terms being used to describe the process.
Insurance may cover a portion of this process depending on your benefits but we would let patients know to anticipate paying mostly out of pocket for this procedure as it can be quite extensive.
Full mouth restoration could take anywhere from a few weeks to over a year. It all depends on the process and what steps are going to be taken. Once we get everything treatment planned, we will be able to give a more accurate timeframe for this process as it’s different for each patient.
Full mouth restoration may be necessary for patients that have a vast multitude of issues with their teeth and function of their mouth due to missing, broken or largely decayed teeth. It can also help patients who have worn their teeth down from grinding or have had previous trauma due to sports or other facial injuries.
