Sugar and Tooth Decay: The Bitter Truth

I ran across this video the other day and I found it fascinating. For over 30 years we have been inundated with the theory that a high-fat diet is the root of obesity and poor cardiovascular health. As it turns out, we have not been told the truth. While it is true that a high-fat diet is bad, sugar is the real culprit. We have known for ages that sugar is the fuel for tooth decay but there are so many other reasons to stay away from sugar.
This video is long and does have some basic biochemistry, which can be glazed over but is well worth a watch.
