My Dental Story

The Beginning

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be a part of health care. In 1997, I went on a dental mission in Jamaica where I worked with many dentists to help people with their oral health. On that trip, I fell in love with how dentistry can change people’s lives and decided to pursue dentistry as a career.

Family is very important to me. The best part of my day is coming home to my wife, Sarah, son, Riley, and daughter, Audrey. I have been very fortunate to be surrounded by my amazing family members and I draw inspiration from all of them.

Education

I earned my DDS degree from Loma Linda University of California in 2004 and joined the Redmond Signature Dentistry team the following year. I am constantly attending continuing education courses to further my knowledge in dentistry because it is constantly changing. I always do 2 to 3 times more of the CE requirements and have a particular interest in sleep apnea, oral-systemic health, full mouth reconstruction, and minimally invasive dentistry.

Giving Back

I do love making a difference in our local and global communities.  I have been involved in many local dental charities. I’ve received a Local and International Service Award from Loma Linda University and the Service Award for Meritous Service to Nicaragua and Mexico from the American Dental Association.
